Revisiting Last Year's Christmas Mantel ...

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving with family and friends!  Are you still full?  I sure am!

Before I share our holiday home, I thought I'd show my sweet, new blogging buddies what our Christmas mantel looked like for the past few years:


It was filled with sequined nutcrackers of varying sizes:



Littles fellas perched on top of festive holiday nuts:


And, lots of sparkle and beaded garland:



It glowed and shimmered when it was all lit up at night:


While I loved the *blingy* look, I decided to do something different this year.  Lemme tell ya' ... I was stumped what to do until my sweet 5 year old kiddo inspired me ... can't wait to share it with you !!

    If I recall, I think it was your mantel that drew me to your blog in the first place. It was over the top gorgeous!!!! My kids would LOVE it as they're obsessed with all things nutcracker!

    O-M-G Becca! I saw this mantel on HGTV's Rate My Space last year...it got some GREAT reviews! I didn't know it was yours!!! Am I surprised? Not really...You ALWAYS come up with great stuff! Love it! Can't wait to see this year's mantel.

    I think I remember seeing your mantel on RMS! It was so pretty. I used to use nutcrackers and colorful ornaments when I had more color in my house. Since I've gone more neutral, my Christmas decor did too. Can't wait to see your new mantel decor!
