So ... come on in (and, as always, please click on the pictures to enlarge)!
I fell in love with the handsome plaid ribbon and just had to have it! I thought that the festive "Merry Christmas" black/gold ribbon might be a fun compliment to it and the red ribbon:
This "Home" saying and chunky garland greets you when you walk in:
The table in the great room holds a couple more Nutcrackers, along with a messy floral arrangement I threw together, and festive plates that I found at Wal-Mart:
Love the lit branches peeking through:
Annnnd, our big ol' fat "faux" 9 foot tree:
Another crazy tree topper. I'm absolutely crazy about the wide, red ribbon I found at Kirkland's:
Here's a sweet White House ornament that my brother-in-law gave us a few years ago:
A glittery apple green tree hangs next to another beautiful White House ornament:
A couple of Radko ornaments:
A steal of a deal "Peace" pillow (from Wal-Mart) leans against a soft and yummy "faux" fur pillow from Pottery Barn:
The mantle that you've already seen:
Fun gold, glittery frames I found at Home Goods for $4.99(!):
And, behind the pictures sits an apothecary jar filled with inexpensive shatterproof Christmas balls from Wal-Mart:
I love turning the lights off as it begins to get dark so that we can see the tree glow in all its glory:
As always, I sincerely enjoy your visits!

ReplyDeleteYOUR HOME LOOKS AMAZING :) JUST GORGEOUS :) I LOVE YOUR TREE :)
WISHING YOU A VERY HAPPY HOLIDAY :)
Your home looks so beautiful all decked out for Christmas! It's hard to believe Christmas is only a few days away!
ReplyDeleteBecca, it is all so beautiful. You really know how to deck the halls for sure. I do not envy you taking it all down though.
ReplyDeleteEverything is just gorgeous! You are such a wonderful decorator!!
ReplyDeleteBored? Never! I could look at your house and decor all day Becca, I just love it and appreciate you taking the time to share it with us. Keeps me motivated too in keeping my home neat, tidy and cosy ;-)
ReplyDeleteI love the swag in the entry way, I need more ribbon for next year now that I can tie bows a little better.
Hope you got a lot of your shopping done today ;)
Beautiful, gorgeous tree! BTW, I bought that wide red netting ribbon at Kirkland's but mine didn't come out nicely so I pulled it off and used regular ribbon instead. Any tricks of the trade to share??
ReplyDeleteBORED???? Are you kidding girl? I said "Yippee Skippee" when I saw another post pop up from you with all of your gorgeous decorations! This tour just gets better and better and I really love the garland in the entry and the beautiful arrangement on your table in the great room with the branches that are lit. That is something I am definitely going to be copying. Are you feeling like you are getting everything done? I spent the whole day shopping with a friend which was super fun (and really rare!)but still need to do some more. Yikes! Just little stuff but still lots to do. Oh well, it all ends up fine in the end doesn't it? Wish we could meet up for a drink after a long day of wearing out our wallets! :-)

Never, never, never bored with your house! I love your tree! Our lights went off tonight on our 10 footer. I don't know what we are going to do about that! I have to have a tree light up for Christmas!!!!! I must say though that I adore that side board with the nutcrackers and arrangement! Is the chunky garland one you bought or made? I love the lushness of it!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, and I am loving the ribbon on your tree!!!
