Happy Monday, friends and welcome to our Fall dining room!
I'm happy to be sharing it today as part of a fun Fall blog hop, hosted by the sweet and talented Pamela (From My Front Porch to Yours).
Admittedly, I have a confession to make ... we have never eaten a meal in here. Ever. Please tell me I'm not alone in neglecting one's dining room.
Yes, it's true, I have never served a yummy soup in this pretty tureen in here.
It only sits here on "display" surrounded by faux pumpkins and a colorful Fall garland (Michael's).
I "can" say that we at least walk "through" our dining room every day (does that count?) ... so we can enjoy the colors of the season that I added to our buffet.
Of course, it wouldn't be Fall if there wasn't a little bling added, now would it?
I can never have enough of these Fall "picks" (Michael's) ... so easy to add to an arrangement, garland or to tuck around the base of a lamp.
Cute bowls from Home Goods remind us what the season is all about.
You can't really tell, but our "HARVEST" banner dresses up our window a bit.
And, over on our floating shelves, I kept it a bit simple by only adding a few white painted pumpkins ...
and, a pretty plate (from Wal-mart).
Over on the other wall, a plate gallery gives it life.
And, even though *I'm* not a fan of liquor, you can see that, apparently, our friends are, which is why I need to replace a couple of those empty bottles!
Honestly, I think the reason that we don't eat at this table is because I have flashbacks of the time that "this" happened at our former home! (LOL) I don't want to risk that happening while we're actually sitting at the table! Woops.
Thanks so much for joining me in our Fall dining room ... where we never eat. I'm going to change that!
Please be sure and visit these awesome ladies ... you're sure to be amazed by their Fall spaces!
Have a great day,
It all looks beautiful. Deb
ReplyDeleteLove your dining room Becca, and yes, walking through and looking at it counts in my book!!
ReplyDelete:) Luvly Becca.
ReplyDeleteYour fall dining room is beautiful, Becca! Love the fall colors against your beautiful white accents.

I love a room that never gets messed up so your dining room is perfect! Your fall decor is lovely and I don't blame you for not using it after seeing the "crash" on the floor! Wow! Your home and fall decor is beautiful, Becca.

It looks beautiful Becca! You are so funny. We eat in there but only once a year at Christmas. I love having the space though. Thanx for joining us in the blog hop lady!:)
ReplyDeleteTonight, you need to eat dinner in your dining room. I trust you've shored up the table so it's not going to collapse again! Lighting never strikes twice, right?
ReplyDeleteI would have cried, cried, cried over those broken dishes and that beautiful tablescape. Ouch. That had to hurt.
Hi Becca! Oh, your dining room looks so pretty. I hate that your table bit the dust in your other home. That hurts my heart! :) Well, we do eat in our dining room when we have company. Anyway, you've got the golden touch my friend.
ReplyDeleteBe a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
Wait. HOW DID THAT HAPPEN?? Omg... I don't blame you a bit. Beautiful dining room though!!!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty. We never eat in our dining room either so I just turned it into a sitting room. Where are you blingy candleholders from? Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteYour dining room looks beautiful, Becca. I MISS having parties and eating in the dining room. The only time we eat in this new TINY dining room is when we have our dinner group. I can only seat 8 in this dining room so if we have a larger crowd we entertain downstairs. We have the 6 barstools and a high top table that will sit 8 . Happy Fall!!!
ReplyDeleteAlways love your fall looks Becca!! SO pretty!!
ReplyDeleteCute fall additions and I love the HomeGoods bowls.
ReplyDeleteWOW! Your dining room is so beautiful! Love your open shelves and your beautiful touches of fall.
ReplyDeleteSo love seeing the dining room in your new home perfectly dressed for Fall....beautiful fall decor throughout the room and your tablescape is gorgeous, as always Becca....and you made me laugh seeing the table situation again!....I so remember that and how you kept your sense of humor!....Seeing the news about the flooding of Myrtle Beach is so sad. Hope your friends there did OK....Happy Fall Becca!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful room, and one of those sad sidebars to using antiques for normal use. We have the 'chair' issues. Still you can reinforce everything. If you aren't going to sell the table ever, screw and glue...LOL. Enjoyed your post, Sandi
ReplyDeleteIt's a lovely ròom. And even if you don't have meals there it must give you pleasure as you pass by.
ReplyDeleteYou just always do such an amazing job of decorating, Becca! That table collapse might make me a bit nervous, too! We do use our dining room on a rare occasion, but I love having the space to show and share some of our most loved treasures; and I get to see it a gazillion times a day!
ReplyDeleteBecca, your dining room is so pretty! I love the pops of orange!I still remember your table falling and really watch what I put on ours now. You have such a great style! You have created a beautiful Fall home!
ReplyDeleteit all looks so beautiful, pinned. I invite you to share at my Thursday hop Hugs!
ReplyDeleteAs beautiful as always, Becca! Love, love all the Fall touches you have added to your dinning room. xxx Maria

Whether you use these creations or not, it's obvious that you have a unique vision for your home. You must have been trained, or you are just gifted from above. I am so envious. As much as I try to add a little of myself to my home, the ideas come out as, well...I wouldn't share them publicly. I can't do anything without a professional interior design team.

I loved interiors and Halloween décor. Great creative decoration ideas. I am searching for 50th birthday party decoration inspirations. We are thinking to book one of vintage party venues for my mom’s 50th birthday bash this July.
ReplyDeleteSpot on with this article, I really think this website needs more attention. I'll probably be back to read more, thanks for the info.
