Greetings, friends! For those of you who were sweet enough to peek at our master bedroom mini-makover last month, you may remember my mentioning that I had been looking and looking for a drum shade chandelier (to replace our ceiling fan), but hadn't had any luck. Sweet Kim (Savvy Southern Style) sent me a link to one she found on Overstock. I then received an email from Amy, a manager at Overstock, informing me of a sale! And, wouldn't ya' know, the chandelier that Kim suggested was on SALE! Say no more ... woo hoo!
Now, you see a big, overbearing, barely-used ceiling fan ...
and, NOW, you don't !! Say hello to our new stylish gal, "Chandie" ... (of course, now, my OCD-self needs to change out the other shades to drum shades)!
I love her jewels!
How she glows at night ....
And casts fun shadows on the ceiling ...
Welcome to the family, Chandie ... we love you so much that we just might have to buy your twin for another spot in the house. Hmmmmmm ... lol. (Thanks again, Kim and Overstock!)

Have a great evening, friends,
Gorgeous addition. I have always loved a chandelier in a bedroom, however I would roast without the ceiling fan.
ReplyDeleteWow, she is gorgeous, Your master turned out beautiful.I would love to have one in every room but here in Houston we need the fans.
ReplyDeleteThat is so gorgeous! Love the way it looks up there and the reflection on your ceiling!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous!!!
ReplyDeleteBecca, it is gorgeous. What a difference. I am so glad that one worked out for you. I have got to get a new fixture in my room, too and not sure what I want. The fan has got to go. We don't use ours either.
ReplyDeleteLOVE your chandy!! Wish I could do one; but, this Texas heat just won't allow it!! I'll live vicariously through you!! So pretty!!!
ReplyDeleteOh so pretty! but then I love your whole room!!

What a pretty chandelier! I use my ceiling fan every night! My 18 yr old daughter uses hers even in the middle of winter! Hmmm, now how to put a pretty little chandelier on a ceiling fan??? Wonder if it's been done.
ReplyDeleteShe's beautiful, Becca, and I would love to get one myself, but I need our ceiling fan at night to sleep. I will take function over beauty in this case! Especially lately with our temps in the 70's and 80's here in Ohio. It feels like August in March!
ReplyDeleteLove it Becca! It is perfect in your newly redone GORGEOUS bedroom!! I would sure like one in our bedroom, but hubby wouldn't go for it. He has to have it on every night even if it's freezing outside...lol. =( Oh well, I'll just have to admire yours!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the nice compliment on the mesh wreath! I hope you will post more pics of yours soon. Kristen
Oh I wish my husband would agree to get rid of our ceiling fan! I LOVE your new chandelier! It is so elegant!

The new light looks great! It just adds that little something to the room. Lovely.
ReplyDeleteOh, it's just perfect! I want one just like it only husband likes his ceiling fan. I tried to suggest a stand fan for him but he wouldn't have any part of it. I absolutely love the way you have decorated your bedroom. You're good, girl!
ReplyDeleteHi Becca! Oh! That is SUCH a pretty Chandie. Don't you just love the O? I certainly do - but looks like I need to get in good with the manager there, haha! Wish I could put one in my bedroom, but not with this GA heat! Your room looks great.
ReplyDeleteBecca, Your bedroom is gorgeous and I love the new light. I would also like to replace our ceiling fan but hubby wants it running every night. Hugs, Sherry
ReplyDeleteGorgeous Becca, just gorgeous. I would love one of those, but my husband loves to have the fan on sometimes and I have to pull the covers over my head. FYI, my old blog has to be removed off your roll..you actually have to delete me off your reader then readd the new url. http://debbie-debbiedoos.com
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Wish I could add one, but in Texas, ceiling fans are almost a requirement. I put a nice drum chandie in my daughter's room and she fries every night!
ReplyDeleteOh it looks marvelous Becca! Elegant and glam with a touch of modern~so you!
ReplyDeleteWell, yeah, I love your new chandelier. I have the same one in my dining room! Love it! Your bedroom is beautiful.

ReplyDeleteIt really is wonderful. Love the look. The crystals are so perfect, just enough and not too much. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeleteThat is some beautiful chandie, Becca! It looks perfect in your bedroom. There is no way we could live without a fan in our bedroom, but I can definitely appreciate how pretty chandies are in my friends' rooms....lol!

ReplyDeleteI apologize in advance for the horrid quality of the photos. I am in the process of researching a new camera as I write this. I am "new" to blogging. Thank you for sharing your beautiful room.
Oh my goodness! I'm in love. That makes me want to take out my fan and get a chandelier. So pretty!
