Greetings, friends! For those of you who were sweet enough to peek at our master bedroom mini-makover last month, you may remember my mentioning that I had been looking and looking for a drum shade chandelier (to replace our ceiling fan), but hadn't had any luck. Sweet Kim (Savvy Southern Style) sent me a link to one she found on Overstock. I then received an email from Amy, a manager at Overstock, informing me of a sale! And, wouldn't ya' know, the chandelier that Kim suggested was on SALE! Say no more ... woo hoo!
Now, you see a big, overbearing, barely-used ceiling fan ...
and, NOW, you don't !! Say hello to our new stylish gal, "Chandie" ... (of course, now, my OCD-self needs to change out the other shades to drum shades)!

And casts fun shadows on the ceiling ...
Welcome to the family, Chandie ... we love you so much that we just might have to buy your twin for another spot in the house. Hmmmmmm ... lol. (Thanks again, Kim and Overstock!)

Gorgeous addition. I have always loved a chandelier in a bedroom, however I would roast without the ceiling fan.

Becca, it is gorgeous. What a difference. I am so glad that one worked out for you. I have got to get a new fixture in my room, too and not sure what I want. The fan has got to go. We don't use ours either.

What a pretty chandelier! I use my ceiling fan every night! My 18 yr old daughter uses hers even in the middle of winter! Hmmm, now how to put a pretty little chandelier on a ceiling fan??? Wonder if it's been done.
She's beautiful, Becca, and I would love to get one myself, but I need our ceiling fan at night to sleep. I will take function over beauty in this case! Especially lately with our temps in the 70's and 80's here in Ohio. It feels like August in March!
Love it Becca! It is perfect in your newly redone GORGEOUS bedroom!! I would sure like one in our bedroom, but hubby wouldn't go for it. He has to have it on every night even if it's freezing outside...lol. =( Oh well, I'll just have to admire yours!

I love that chandelier! My ceiling fan has to stay, but I am putting some type of chandelier in my closet. Yes, I am! Becca, I am really loving your new wall color ~ I am considering it for my main living areas. What do you think? I love your taste....... ;-)
