*Boo* Y'all!

Happy Sunday, everyone ... it's going to be a gorgeous Fall day here in South Carolina ... hope you're enjoying fabulous weather, too!  I'm taking a break from my "magic trick" kitchen project, and thought I'd share our Fall mudroom.

This is our little space where I add a bit of Halloween, too.

Jax loves our little mice (bought last year at Michael's).  His art is displayed on the walls, too, which makes me smile:

Command central has a few Halloween guests, too:

Meet Beatrice, the good witch who sits perched on her stool, while a mice is about to be "Boo'd" in the background:

Isn't she cute?

A tray holds canisters of yummy treats (which have been dug into quite a bit!), along with Halloween rings and scary spiders for Jax and the neighborhood kiddos to take when they want:

The soffit is a mix of birds, raffia and pumpkins ... oh my!

A simple grapevine swag with big ol' bow hangs from our farmhouse chalkboard:

Picture wall with a few more Halloween accents:

Love the "folkish" pumpkin men I found last year at HomeGoods:

And, like my Halloween wall art?  It's actually a door mat I found at Dollar Tree that I simply attached to the wall with command strip tape:

Well, please say good-bye to Mr. Mouse who is heading back into his house, while I head back into the garage to continue my kitchen project!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Come party with me at these fabulous parties:

  11. Only you would have a mud room that looks this good! Love all the fall/halloween touches you added, especially the goodies! My laundry room is in serious need of a complete overhaul but it ain't gonna happen anytime soon. But when it does, I want to add beadboard on the walls.

    Have a great week!

  23. Hi pretty Becca! Oh, I love your mudroom - 'mudroom' sounds so fancy! :)
Love all the beadboard and your fall and Halloween touches are just perfect. I scrolled down and saw your most gorgeous family room - it's so beautiful! Your mantle is so die for - well, swoon for. :)
Your home is so lovely and you certainly know how to put your decorator's touch to it.

  24. Well, I did hear that it was a beautiful day..., unfortunately I was stuck inside in air condition all day freezing (even with 2 shirts and a coat)!!!

You create the most wonderful spaces. I wish my mud/laundry room looked as lovely as yours! I really like the black birds sitting on the pumpkins. I need to pick some up for next year. How do keep your "command central" all neat and organized so close to the wash and drier? The way I pack clothes into the washer/drier, the thing shakes all over!!! I would have papers flying everywhere. Ha ha

Want to know how obsessed I am with your home..... I couldn't help ask myself, "What did Becca do with the cute little plaid pillow that she had sitting on the bench last year?" Okay... just tell me to get a life!

I have a GIVEAWAY right now on my site that ends thursday for a black chandelier. Check it out!

  32. Becca I accidently deleted our email from yesterday...I promise I'll show you soon. It seems like from what I can tell the prices are better. More home for the money so to speak which is a good thing. I'm not looking forward to the heat so much. I pretty much grew up there though so I'll get used to it again. :)

I looked through several of your posts--Love your creativity! One thing that caught my eye is the mirrored tables by your French doors and how the wood floor is reflected on them--cool!
