Tiny Changes in our Master Bedroom

I owe our bedroom an apology, as I always tend to forget to share little goodies in here ...

whether it's orange pillows added for the season,

a pretty mirror that came home with me earlier this summer from Home Goods (that used to be white, but quickly turned gold, thanks to a quick paint job),

or, even a pretty new comforter set from Tuesday Morning and cute pillow from Home Goods.

When the gash on my "pleather" top flea market find ottoman got larger, I forgot to share how our faux animal rug came to rescue in covering said gash up!

And, when I added an orange runner to our painted bench, I walked right by it time and time again without my camera.

Remember when I added my World Market wing chairs to our dining room ... well, somehow they found their way in here earlier this summer ... they like playing musical chairs, I suppose.

Well, at least I can't feel badly about this piece, as it hasn't changed with the swipe of my paint brush ... YET, anyway.

The matching armoire has somehow also been spared from my paint brush ...

too bad I can't say the same for what "used" to be a square, white plate.  Yup, there aren't many things that I won't paint!  I'm sure you can relate.

Well, I hope that our bedroom forgives me for neglecting it.  I'll try to be better about that.

Please tell me you have a room that you tend to neglect, too!

Thanks for stopping by!

  4. You have such a pretty room, Becca! I love your ceiling fixture. I am in the midst of "redoing" our bedroom ~ again. Just when I got it where I liked it we needed a new mattress and the husband wanted a King size. Messed everything up! So I'm making necessary changes and some just because. : )

  8. Such a pretty room, Becca! Sadly, our bedroom is a disaster right now. We have agonized for years about downsizing our *wonderful* king size bed to a queen, so it will fit a little better into the tiny 12 x 12 foot room. I have let it go for waaayyyy too long! Maybe seeing your gorgeous room will motivate me into action -- I love it all :)
    xoxo!!

  25. Lovely restful decor. The pale blue is so soothing. I love the tray ceiling and your furniture is gorgeous. I especially like the mirrored chest of drawers. The mirror looks great painted gold, it would never showed as well painted white.

  33. I love the arts very creative pallet. I think it would look great dark spot on the dresser and the bed. When combined with other things, is that unless it is really old, light pine furniture in a bedroom is the most popular at the time, I like the look. Great job.penderie

  34. I was overwhelmingly impressed to see the French bedroom at my sister’s home in Swindon when I visited her
last Christmas and it was replete with wingback style French armchairs, French beds and French armoires that looked stunning along with the beautiful furnishings and accessories. When I inquired, she told me that all of these French furniture were bought from a renowned furniture store in London that had it all in its exclusive collection of chairs, tables and beds.
